This video shows how to get a free unlock code for your T-Mobile G1 cell phone! The instructions in this video are pretty easy to follow and I will review some of them in a few steps provided below. Additionally, you can use this method of getting a free unlock code for most cell phones from T-Mobile. However, this does not always work and there is no guarantee.
Steps To Get A Free T-Mobile Unlock Code
1. Contact T-Mobile support. Email customercare at t-mobilesupport dot com or call 1-800-937-8997.
2. Tell them you need an unlock code for your T-Mobile G1 or any other T-Mobile carried phone.
3. They will request your cell phone’s IMEI number.
4. Type *#06# to get your mobile phone’s IMEI.
5. Now they should tell you that they will email you the free unlock code in 24-48 hours!
