Many users want an unlocked Samsung Omnia 2. Unlocking the new Samsung Omnia 2 may be difficult, requiring some Samsung unlocking software. According to Samsung USA News, the Samsung Omnia 2 will be released Dec. 2nd through Verizon Wireless. Since Verizon Wireless is not a GSM network but rather only carries CDMA mobile phones, you will not be able to use the standard SIM unlocking instructions, such as with other Samsung cell phones.
Overall, the Samsung Omnia 2 looks to be a nice upgrade from the original Samsung Omnia I900, which we have free unlock instructions for here. Hello I did the unlock with my omnia I900 long time ago, almost the same proc. that you wrote but now with my Omnia II there is no way do it, the codes for accessing the unlock menu works, but not the IMSI (that is nothing but the Mobile Network Code), can you tell me if you know how to do it please…..stock with a great lock phone
