Unlock Your BlackBerry 8900 For Free

Unlocked BlackBerry 8900 CurveWanting to unlock your BlackBerry 8900 so you can switch carriers? Better yet, let’s do it completely free. That’s right most website will have you believe that you need to pay to unlock your BlackBerry 8900. This is very far from the truth and you can acquire a free unlock code from T-Mobile. Here are the steps to unlocking your BlackBerry 8900:

Unlock Your BlackBerry 8900 Free

1. Call T-Mobile and ask for your MEP code.
2. After recieving the MEP code, turn your WiFi off.
3. Go to settings, then advanced options, then SIM card, then type “MEPD”.
4. The phone should say “Network as Active”
5. Hold SHIFT + type “MEPE” or “MEP2″
6. The phone should say “Network as Disabled” and your done!

    Luisa, there is no MEP code generator at this time as far as I am aware :( However, I believe you can call up O2′s phone support and request this code, and in exchange they will request your IMEI number that you provided. Otherwise, if you are unable to acquire one this way. I would recommend this professional unlocking website. Good luck and I hope this helps!

    Hey Bryan, I cannot calculate your MEP code for your Blackberry 8900. However, you may be able to get this number by calling into your carriers support line and requesting it. They will ask for your BlackBerry’s IMEI number in exchange. Otherwise, you can try checking out some of the unlocking services I have provided on this site or try searching google.     I can unlock most BB in the market but I cannot supply a MEP code right now. I also need physical access to the device unfortunately to be able to do so. I am working on a new type of code generator currently. I have managed to devise one to get to the secret engineering screens. This wasnt too difficult to do not being linked to different networks. If I am able to do it for the MEP I will give out codes for free to the first 100 people who ask politely. After that I will probably charge five or ten quid per device for my efforts. Still will be way cheaper than any of them commercial guys coz I am not in it for the money. Watch this space. Cheers.
