Unlocking a Nokia N79 phone can be free and easy. You need a Nokia N79 unlock code before you can begin. Getting a free unlock code for your Nokia N79. You can try calling your phone carrier and requesting one. As long as you have had phone service with your carrier for at least 3 months, they will normally have no problem with this. Secondly, you can try using a Nokia Unlock Code Generator. Regardless you will need to get your Nokia N79’s IMEI number. You can find your phone’s IMEI number by simply typing: *#06# and hitting enter.

I can’t seem to get an unlock number for my phone even with the serial number. And the website provided do not include the n-series. I called my phone company STC they couldn’t help me at all getting an unlock code. I would publish it on this site, the serial number but i’m afraid some one will take it. what should i do?
Hey Yaser, unfortunately getting a free unlock code for your Nokia N79 can be heavily dependent on which phone carrier you are using. In your case, STC does not appear to be willing to give you an unlock code for your phone. I would suggest checking out some of the websites that offer cheap unlock codes.
