An unlocked Nokia 2710 Navigation Edition works on all GSM networks. The Nokia 2710 requires an unlock code to remove the SIM lock that prevents the Nokia 2710 working with any phone carrier. You can usually get a free unlock code by calling up your current phone carrier’s support number and requesting one. In exchange they will need your Nokia 2710 Navigation Edition’s IMEI number. You can get your cell phone’s IMEI number by typing *#06# and pressing enter. If you cannot get a free unlock code, I would suggest reviewing the unlock services I have listed at the bottom of this post.

How To Unlock Nokia 2710 Navigation Edition

1. Power on your Nokia 2710 with an unaccepted SIM card in (or sometimes no SIM card at all works).
2. Type #PW+Unlock Code+1 (Where Unlock Code is your 8-digit Nokia unlock code)
3. Now verify your unlock code was typed correctly
4. Finish by typing #
5. If worked phone should say “SIM Restriction Off”

Note: In order to enter letters on your Nokia dial pad you will need to press the asterisk (*) key several times.
