Unlock Nokia 1208

Unlocking a Nokia 1208 only takes a few steps. First you need an unlock code for your Nokia 1208. Below I have provided some ways to get a Nokia unlock code for your phone. Here they are:
1. Call your phone carrier – If you have had your Nokia 1208 in a contract with your phone carrier for over 3 months, they will usually be able to give you an unlock code for free. If you think you meet those requirements, you should go ahead and call your phone carrier’s support line. This depends on who your carrier is of course, but I have heard much success with AT&T, as well as T-Mobile.
2. Use a Nokia unlock code calculator – There are tons of free Nokia unlock code calculators out there that will generate a code for your phone. Lur.nu is a good example of one you could try.
3. Buy a Nokia unlock code – Unfortunately if the above two methods do not work, you may have to buy an unlock code online. There are lots of websites that offer this service. I would make sure and do some price shopping as the prices for unlock codes can vary greatly. One such place I found was Unique Phones.
Regardless of the method you choose above, you will need to provide your Nokia 1208′s IMEI number so the unlock code can be calculated. Finding your phone’s IMEI number is actually quite easy and you can do it by simply entering: *#06# and hitting enter. Once you have your unlock code for your Nokia 1208 you can begin the unlock steps below:
How To Unlock Your Nokia 1208
(Warning: Entering multiple incorrect unlock codes could permanently lock your phone!)
1. Type #PW+
2. Enter your unlock code
3. Now type +1#
4. Your Nokia phone should say “SIM Restriction Off”
The above steps are also provided in my previous Nokia unlock guide and actually come directly from T-Mobile. Although the steps are provided by T-Mobile, they should work on your Nokia phone regardless of the phone carrier. Anyway if all goes well you’ll have an unlocked Nokia 1208 that you can now use with any phone carrier you choose!

3 – Compose #pw+CODE+1#.
4 – The Nokia 1208 mobile phone would then display the message “SIM Restriction Off” and will be unlocked!

Hello Tim, have you tried using any of the Nokia unlock code generators available? If they don’t support the Nokia 1208, I would suggest this vendor as they support almost every Nokia phone. Hope this helps and good luck!
