The upcoming LG Phoenix is a GSM cell phone from AT&T and this guide shows how to unlock it! Although the LG Phoenix is not released yet, we suspect this phone will unlock just like any other LG phone that uses a SIM card. Essentially, any SIM carded mobile phone, has the potential of coming with a SIM lock on it. Many cell phone carriers such as AT&T and T-Mobile, put these locks on the device so that the phone will only work with their service. Therefore, if you want to use your future LG Phoenix with a different carrier than AT&T, you will have to remove this SIM lock.
Although it is possible the LG Phoenix may come without this lock, we are writing this guide just in case. To remove the lock, you will need an unlock code. You can get this code by calling up your carrier and requesting one. If you cannot get one, there are many websites that offer unlock code generation for a small fee. Once you get your unlock code, you should be able to use the steps below to unlock the Phoenix (although most places will give you instructions with your code):
LG Phoenix Unlock Guide

2. Turn on your LG mobile and it should display “Phone Restricted”.
3. Select “Cancel” and the LG phone will display “phone restriction code”.

5. Select OK and your mobile should be unlocked!
