Unlock a Nokia N82

To unlock a Nokia N82 you first need an unlock code. You can get an unlock code for your Nokia N82 by either using downloaded software or calling your phone carrier’s support line. Eitherway, you are going to need your Nokia N82′s IMEI number. You can find your phone’s IMEI number by simply entering *#06#.
Once you have acquired your IMEI number for your Nokia N82, you will need to either type that in your downloaded unlock software or give that to your phone carrier. In exchange you are going to get an unlock code that is all digits. If you are having trouble getting an unlock code for your phone, then you may need find a website and pay for one.
Now that you have your Nokia N82 unlock code, you can get started with the unlocking steps. These steps are based on my previous post on How To Unlock A Nokia Phone and this new article I just read on Unlocking a Nokia Cell Phone. Without explaning any more details, here are the steps to unlock a Nokia N82:

1. Type #PW+
2. Enter your unlock code
3. Now type +1#
4. Your Nokia 2610 should say “SIM Restriction Off”
Now you should have yourself a fully unlocked Nokia N82. You can use your Nokia N82 phone on any phone carrier network you wish. Just buy a SIM card from that provider and your set!
Warning: If these steps do not work for you, do not keep retrying. Entering multiple incorrect unlock codes could permanently lock your phone. Attempt at your own risk!
