Unlock a Nokia 2610 phone
This phone guide shows how to unlock a Nokia 2610 phone for free. This phone guide is in response to this forum post. You need a Nokia 2610 unlock code first. You can call Cingular Wireless or whoever your phone carrier is and request an unlock code. They will want your Nokia 2610’s IMEI number in exchange. You can get your phone’s IMEI number by typing *#06#. If you can’t get a free unlock code from them, then your goign to have to pay for one.
Once you have your unlock code for your Nokia 2610, you can start unlocking it for free. These are the steps and are based on my How To Unlock A Nokia Phone post. Here are the steps:
Unlock Nokia 2610
1. Type #PW+
2. Enter your unlock code
3. Now type +1#
4. Your Nokia 2610 should say “SIM Restriction Off”
Alright now you should have yourself an unlocked Nokia 2610 that you can use on any phone carrier, including T-Mobile. All you need to do now is buy a SIM card for that carrier and order phone service.
