Unlock a LG phone

To unlock a LG mobile phone you will need an unlock code. Getting a free LG unlock code is usually possible by calling your phone carrier’s support number. Depending on your carrier’s different requirements you may or may not be able to get a free LG unlock code, but their or other options available yet. Your phone carrier will first ask you for your LG phone’s IMEI number. You can find your phone’s IMEI number easily by typing *#06# and then hitting the enter button. If you cannot get a free LG unlock code, then you may have to look into buying an LG unlock code. Again, I would suggest first trying to get a free LG unlock code by first calling your phone carrier.
Once you have an unlock code for your LG phone, we can begin the unlocking process. I found these websites from several websites and these are the steps your phone carrier will normally give you if you request them. Here are the steps:
Unlock any LG phone (SIM Unlock)
1. Power on your LG phone with the original SIM card in.
2. Enter 2945#*700#
3. A menu will pop up, select SIM Unlock.
4. Enter your unlock code and hit OK.
5. Your LG phone might automatically reboot.

hola buenas tardes, disculpe lo que pasa que cuento con un cel lg al cual quise configurarlo en la guia me mencionaba lo que podia bconfigurar y mencionaba k excepto los codigos PUNK y PUNK2, creo les introduci a estos otros codigo, total k cada ves que enciendo mi cel me aparece LA SIM ESTA BLOQUEADA y me gustaris saber como desbloquear para lograr entrar. gracias!!

Se for um KU990i (viewty):
1. retire o cartão SIM;
2. Pressione ao mesmo tempo as teclas “lock” e “camera” (ficam uma ao lado da outra). Pronto, você terá acesso ao teclado!
3. Digite 2945 # * 990 #
4. Um menu irá aparecer, selecione “SIM unlock”
5. Digite o código de desbloqueio e pressione OK
6. O telefone irá reiniciar e, em seguida, o desbloqueio é completado!
