Samsung Omnia i910 Phone Review

June 10th, 2009

Samsung Omnia i910

The Samsung Omnia i910 is one of the latest new touchscreen phones aimed at Apple’s iPhone market. First off, the Omnia i910 offers a huge display screen that is about 2.24 by 4.4 inches. This will give your fingers room to roam and enjoy the smooth touchscreen capabilities that Samsung is offering. Additionally, like the iPhone, Samsung’s Omnia i910 packs an accelerometer, which allows the mobile phone to pick up your every move, tilt and turn. As far as connectivity, the Omnia is definately up to date. Offering Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and EV-DO Rev technology, the Samsung Omnia is sure to keep you connected. Furthermore, the i910 sport a 5.0 megapixel camera which is pretty impressive compared to many of it’s Samsung counterparts.

As far as the negatives go, you have no applications to download and are going to be stuck with preloaded apps or widgets. Also the Samsung Omnia i910 can be slow and laggy at times, at least more so then many other phones I have used in the past. Again, like the iPhone there is no slide out qwerty keyboard, so you may find it slightly cramped when trying to pump out a few text messages to friends.

Overall, the Samsung Omnia i910 is a great touchscreen phone and costing only $99.00 it packs a lot of punch when put next to Apple’s iPhone. If your still interested in the Samsung Omnia i910, check out the following video review I have provided:
