Dell Mini 12 Review
In this review of the Dell Mini 12, we’ll discuss the netbooks design and features. The Mini 12 is essentially a bigger version of the Mini 9 from Dell. This netbook has an increased screen size at 12 inches across. The finish and outside design of the netbook has stayed the same as the Dell Mini 9. The Mini 12 also has a larger keyboard than it’s predecessor. This makes typing easier, however it is still slightly cramped.
Moving this review onward, let’s talk about some of the Dell Mini 12’s features. Dell decided to put a Intel Atom Z520 1.33 ghz processor in the Mini 12. This is actually a downgrade from the Mini 9 and had a lot of people questioning Dell’s decision. However, the netbook still performs very well and contains a 80 GB hard drive. Furthermore, the Mini 12 features all the jacks your going to need, including: Ethernet, mic, headphone, USB and an SD/MMC reader.
In conclusion, the Dell Mini 12 netbook performs very well and contains some strong features. However, it is bulkier and slightly slower than the Mini 9. It would be worth checking out the Dell Mini 9 which is similarly priced if your looking for a netbook from Dell.
