Sometimes the phone carriers, such as Fido will not give out the unlock codes because they technically don't have to, but some networks such as T-Mobile and AT&T are really nice about handing them out, since they have you in a contract, etc. I checked and I would recommended checking out <a href="http://www.globalunlock.com/affiliate/idevaffiliate.php?id=96" rel="nofollow">Global Unlock</a> to get an unlock code for your Vivaz, as the other website I normally recommend only support a handfull of SE phones (from AT&T). The unlock code vendor above will refund your money (as stated on their homepage) if you cannot get the unlock code to unlock your SE Vivaz.
