A Samsung Intercept cannot be unlocked only through some CDMA unlocking software. Most of times this unlocking software does not exist for most Samsung phones and is probably the case for the new Samsung Intercept. The reason I have written this article is because I noticed another website posting some GSM unlocking instructions for this phone. Since the Samsung Intercept is a CDMA network phone and not a GSM (or SIM card based) network phone you CANNOT use GSM unlocking methods for this phone. Hopefully there will be an unlocked version of this cell phone released soon but otherwise you should look to a professional unlocking service if you wanted to unlock your Samsung Intercept.
