Record Live TV On Your Mac, iPod, or iPhone

Elgato has released a new product called the Elgato Video Capture device. It is capable of converting analog input into MPEG-4 video at a very high rate. The converted video is high quality and can be edited very easily. You can even set it up to run automatically, record your favorite TV show, convert it and send it to your Mac, iPod, or iPhone. It is userfriendly but it does require a higher end machine to ensure quality. At only $100 it could be a steal to some because it has the potential of saving you thousands in downloads and DVD’s. Elgato states that it enables you to record from composite video or S-Video interfaces, along with analog RCA stereo audio input. It works with VCRs, set top boxes, camcorders, DVD players and other analog video sources. This makes it easy to feel like a pro and have a great outcome.

  1. I absolutely love your blog and find a lot of your post’s to be exactly what I’m looking for. Would you offer guest writers to write content for you personally? I wouldn’t mind publishing a post or elaborating on some of the subjects you write related to here. Again, awesome site!
