Nokia X2 unlocked phones work on all GSM mobile networks. A Nokia X2 requires an unlock code in order to remove it’s SIM lock. By default, most Nokia X2′s will probably come with a SIM lock that prevents you from using the cell phone with other “unaccepted” carrier. You can try to get a free unlock code by requesting one from your current phone carrier. In order to calculate the unlock code for your Nokia X2, you will need it’s IMEI number which can be found by typing *#06# and hitting enter. The phone carrier support or service will end up requesting this from you. If you cannot get one for free, I would suggest reviewing some of the unlocking websites I have provided below.
Here are the instructions to follow to unlock your Nokia X2 using an unlock code:
How To Unlock Nokia X2
1. Power on your Nokia X2
2. Type #PW+Unlock Code+1# (Where Unlock Code is your 8-digit code you acquired earlier)
3. Your Nokia X2 mobile phone should say “SIM Restriction Off”
