You can expect to see more Android phones being released from Sony Ericsson in 2012. According to a recent interview with Sony Ericsson’s CEO, the cell phone manufacturer is surprised at the growth that the Android mobile operating system has had thus far. As a result, Bert Nordberg (CEO of Sony Ericsson), stated they will be continuing production of more Android smartphones rather then switching platforms to Windows Phone 7. Additionally, the manufacturer feels they could be more dominant in the Android industry and it seems like they will take on a bigger chunk of the market soon. Stay tuned as we watch for new Androids or feel free to review our Sony Ericsson tech news in the meantime.
I am excited to hear this. I am a big fan of the Sony Ericsson with Walkman style smartphones. I agree with Android being a good choice of platform, considering it large number of apps and being open-source. Great news!
