3. Phone will say “Network Unlocked” and may automatically reboot.

The Samsung Highlight does not have wi-fi capability built in to it.

I just bought a samsung highlight and didn’t read that it was a locked phone the person that sold it to me doesn’t know the lock code and thats why he sold it. So it was my error not to read it more closely

Hey guys, your Samsung Highlight T749 should prompt you for an unlock code, whenever inserting an new (unaccepted) SIM card into it. The unlock code is something I unfortunately cannot provide you with. However, your best bet is to call up your current phone carrier and request one from them. If they won’t give you one, then I would recommend using one of the unlock code vendors I have provided above in the article. They will usually even give you some nice unlocking instructions to go with it. Good luck guys and I hope you can all unlock your Samsung Highlight easily. (Also note that entering more then 3 INCORRECT unlock codes on your phone can sometimes enable a security lock, which is NOT a good thing.)
Hey, I was able to unlock the samsung highlight t749 and then put an at&t sim card along with a data package. I can make calls, text, however, can not access the internet via the browser. I get the message “service unavailable” whenever trying to access any website. At&t tried helping but couldn’t figure it out. Any ideas??
