How To Unlock LG Xenon From AT&T
Review released on November 25th, 2009 by Derek
LG recently released the new Xenon GR500. Unlocking the LG Xenon from AT&T only takes a few steps and requires an unlock code like most other SIM phones from LG. Once your Xenon is unlocked you will be able to use it on any phone carrier’s network once you purchase a SIM card from them. Luckily AT&T is actually rather nice about giving out free unlock codes for there phones and you may be able to call them up an get one free. They will request your LG Xenon’s IMEI number in exchange which you can obtain by typing *#06# and hitting enter.
With an unlock code ready you are ready to learn how to unlock your LG Xenon from AT&T. You can use the steps provided below to do this.
Unlock a LG Xenon GR500
1. Turn on your mobile phone and enter: *#865625#
2. Hit “Yes”
3. Enter your unlock code
4. Enter your unlock code, a second time.
5. Your LG Xenon should be unlocked and will say “Network Lock Deactivated”

Getting a free code from your carrier doesn't always work. Alternatively, I recommend this unlock service when trying to find an unlock code. If they do not support your cell phone then you can also try this website that supports tons of specific phone models.

Thanks for the information, it was very usefull
Should I put in the sim card that I want to use before doing these steps or should I do all of this without a sim card in the phone?
Hey Chloe, sorry for the confusion. You can try it without any SIM card in or if that doesn’t work, then with the new unaccepted SIM card. The important thing is that you don’t do it with your current SIM card. Hope this helps and good luck unlocking your LG Xenon. I would also recomend getting an unlock code from this website if you want to safely unlock your LG Xenon From AT&T. Good luck Chloe!
