Unlocking a HTC 7 Pro usually requires a HTC unlock code. An HTC 7 Pro unlocked should work on any GSM phone networks or carrier. As long as you have a 7 Pro that runs off a SIM card you should be able to use these steps to unlock your device. Most GSM or SIM based cell phones come with a SIM lock which prevents them form working with unaccepted carriers. The unlock code should remove the SIM lock on your HTC 7 Pro.
In order to get a HTC 7 Pro unlock code, I would first contact your phone carrier’s support line and request one. Sometimes they will give you one for free and in exchange will need your HTC 7 Pro’s IMEI number. You can get this number simply by entering *#06# on your phone’s keypad and then pressing enter. If you cannot attain a free HTC unlocking code, then you should review some of the unlock code websites I have provided below.
How To Remove SIM Lock From HTC Phones
1. Turn on your HTC mobile phone with an unaccepted/foreign SIM card in (or no SIM card at all).
2. Now, enter your 8-digit unlock code you recieved from earlier.
3. Your HTC mobile phone should be unlocked and may automatically reboot!
You should now be able to use your HTC 7 Pro with other GSM cell phone carriers. If you need additional help, you can leave a comment or we reccomend you visit some of the professional unlock code websites listed below. Good luck!
