Trying to find the IMEI number on a cell phone? This phone tutorial shows how to find and check the IMEI number on a GSM cell phone in 2 easy steps! Most people end up needing their IMEI number when trying to unlock their mobile phone. But, you may want to use this number for other purposes. Alright here are the steps:
How To Find IMEI Number on Phone
1. Power on your mobile phone and type *#06#
2. The first 15 digits of the phone’s output is your IMEI number.
That’s it! You should keep this number safe, in case you need to use it when speaking to your phone carrier. Furthermore, you might be interested in checking out the video that I have posted below. Hi Amy, I am not sure how to get past the voice mail security code. Most of the phone unlocking guides we offer are to remove SIM locks, so you can use your cell phone with any phone carrier you want. All I can say is good luck and I wish I could help you more.

Hi mo59, we have an unlocking guide for the Apple iPhone 4, but this should work with most GSM or SIM based iPhones if you have one. If you have a CDMA version this will not work. Good luck!
