Hi thyna, to get the P and W letters you will need to hit the * (asterisk) key several times on your Nokia N97. I am really sorry for any confusion. Anyway, with your IMEI number you provided, you should first try and call up your phone carrier and ask for an unlock code. Many people think this won’t work, but often does! If for some reason you do not meet your phone carrier’s requirements for getting a free unlock code, I would recommend this unlock code vendor where you can purchase one for a fee. i hav an n97 brought from uae. the problem is that i put a security code for my phone to prevent my phone useing by others. now the problem is that i cannot open my pnone with that security coder. kindly advise me to open the phone.
I would try contacting the manufacturer, as there is usually some way of resetting the cell phone, but I am not sure. Good luck!
