Nokia 5800 Review And Specs

July 1st, 2009

Today we’ll review the Nokia 5800 and check out some of the phone’s specs. The Nokia 5800 is a tablet based touchscreen that has a very simlar look and feel to an Apple iPhone and other touchscreen smartphones. Before we get started, let’s take a look at some pictures of the Nokia 5800.

Nokia 5800
The touchscreen display on the Nokia 5800 is spectacular, displaying at a resolution of 640 by 360 pixels. In addition the phone comes with it’s own AV jack. This makes the phone great for watching videos or even for web browsing. Overall, the new phone is very light, weighing only 109 grams. While the Nokia 5800 isn’t sporting a superfast processor it does support Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi, and GPS. Alright now let’s take a look at some of the phones specs.

Nokia 5800 Specs
Symbian OS v9.4, S60 5th Edition
360 x 640 Pixel Touchscreen
111 x 51.7 x 15.5 mm
Quad-band GSM , WCDMA 2100/850 or 2100/900

In final analysis, the Nokia 5800 is a quality mobile phone, that has some neat features that other smartphones do not. However, the phone is priced at about $400.00, which put it on the low end, when compared to another smartphone, such as Apple’s iPhone.

Nokia N97 White
In this review of the Nokia N97, we will look at this new phone’s specs and features. Also if your interested I found this great Nokia N97 Review video worth taking a look at. Alright let’s begin, the Nokia N97 is jam packed with great features and hardware, such as: a QWERTY keyboard, touchscreen display, 32gb memory support, a 5.0 megapixel camera, WiFi and of course 3G.

Although, the Nokia N97 is packing the hardware, it has left out the user interface, which is often hard to use and confusing. Samsung Eternity A867 Review

June 24th, 2009

Samsung Eternity A867
Samsung Eternity Camera
The Samsung Eternity A867 is a new mobile phone from AT&T. In this review, I have included a few photos of the Eternity and will cover all of the phone’s main features. At the bottom of the review, I have also included a review video that provides great information on this new phone from Samsung.

Let’s get started. The Samsung Eternity has a huge 3.2 inch display, that displays a resolution of 400×240 pixels. The touchscreen is very fluid and sensitive. While the screen contrast and color settings are amazing. This phone’s display truley trumps many other similar smartphones. Moving on, the Samsung Eternity has no slide out keyboard, but uses a touchscreen qwerty keyboard on the display. This is similar to Apple’s iPhone keyboard.

The A867 is also featuring a 3.0 megapixel camera. You can take pictures at different resolutions going from 2,048×1,536 down to a 400×240 widescreen resolution. Furthermore, as far as software is concerned with the Eternity, it has a full HTML browser you can take advantage of. In addition, the Samsung Eternity also comes loaded with 16 mobile games for free. You’ll also be able to take full advantage of the internet/browser because of the 3G support offered by AT&T.
